There are lots of different types of kids entertainers that you can consider hiring for your child’s next party. How do you choose among them? Consider some of your choices:

·         Magician – A classic idea for party entertainment.

·         Clown – an easy, typical idea for amusing young children.

·         Singer or band – have the kids participate in some sing-a-longs.

·         Comedian – some kids entertainers are there to make the kids laugh for an hour, usually with props.

·         Face painters – not necessarily one that provides a focused hour or so, but more of a kids entertainer to have on the side throughout the party.

·         Balloonists – some clowns do this too, but kids always enjoy watching someone create animals and other objects simply from balloons.

Well, how do you choose? Think about your child – you know him or her better than anyone. Chances are, their friends are pretty close to the same. So you know their interests. You obviously know their age level and attention spans. Whittle down the list to the types of kids entertainer that would be the most appropriate, then ask the child what he or she would enjoy. By doing so, you ensure that you don’t hire a kids entertainer that will bore the children to tears!
